Know someone in need of our aged care services?

Did you know that we offer FREE mental health services to residents at Aged Care Facilities?

Our team of Psychologists regularly visit residential aged care facilities (RACFs) across the Perth metropolitan area, as part of a government funded initiative. We work in collaboration with the West Australian Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) to provide mental health care to our aged community, at no cost – provided eligibility criterium is met.

We are a team of Clinical and Registered Psychologists, who genuinely care about the mental health and well-being of our aged community, and we aim to provide trusted support and guidance to those who need it, when they need it.

Life can become more challenging as we age, and we aim to help those struggling with later life’s ups and downs, through tailored, evidence-based therapeutic techniques. A GP referral is required for RACF residents to be eligible for government funding, but this can easily be organised by their residential facility.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced a lot of change and uncertainty into our lives unexpectedly, so it is only natural to feel isolated and uneasy. During this time, we have adapted how we help our aging community, by respecting their need for quarantine safety, and offering remote assistance digitally.

We have been delighted by the resilience displayed by our elderly clients, and their willingness to learn new, digitally driven, ways to communicate in-order-to prioritise their mental health. Technology truly is amazing and has allowed us to maintain social connections during a time of no physical connection.

Under ‘normal’ circumstances, RACF residents often feel lonely and isolated, let alone during a pandemic. So, if you know of someone that may benefit of our aged care services, please get in touch with us today.
