To help combat the effects of COVID-19 on the mental health of Australians, the government has announced the release of an additional 10 subsidised Psychologist appointments to people on a Mental Health Care Plan.
Eligibility requirements:
- You must be on a Mental Health Care Plan and used your first 10 sessions already (to get 10 more)
- You must see your GP for a plan review & extension
- You must have had to quarantine or self-isolate (travel or high-risk health related) between 1 July 2020 & 31 March 2021
- Only available from 7 August 2020 (sessions can’t be back-dated)
