Lisa is a registered psychologist with over 10 years’ experience working within alcohol and drug use counselling programs, disabilities and injury management, employee assistance programs (including working in the mining and resource sector as a FIFO psychologist), critical incident management responses and private mental health practice.
Lisa’s background includes working with a wide range of presenting issues including substance abuse, trauma, grief and loss, workplace concerns, relationships and mental health issues including anxiety and depression. In particular, Lisa has extensive experience working with both young and older adults struggling with anxiety and depression resulting from childhood trauma. She has an eclectic and flexible approach, utilising cognitive behavioural therapies, solution focused approaches and mindfulness interventions. Lisa has a client centred, warm and empathic approach, which allows her to work effectively with a wide range of clients.
