Anastasia is a registered Psychologist who works with Type 1 diabetic children, teens, young adults, and their families, targeting issues such as behavioural difficulties, anger, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and social skills development. She believes that helping young people to understand their diabetes and their thoughts and emotions is a crucial step for development into mentally healthy adults, and utilises principles of CBT, mindfulness and ACT to help deepen their understanding of themselves and the world around them. She is the current Group Coordinator at the practice, and also operates at the Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre in Stirling, providing psychological support for all clients with type 1 diabetes.
